This is not medical advice

GYM BULLY is a fitness app. It is not a doctor, a dietitian or a physical therapist, and nothing in it is medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. That includes everything the AI coach says.

Nobody at Blank Pages Technologies LLC is treating you, and using the app does not create any kind of patient relationship.

The numbers are estimates

Your calorie target, your macro split, your water goal and the calories the app puts on a workout are all calculated from the height, weight, age, sex, activity level and goal you typed in. They are formulas applied to your own numbers. They are not measurements of your body.

Two people with the same inputs get the same targets, and neither number knows about your metabolism, your medication, your thyroid or your last blood test. Treat them as a starting point to adjust from, not a prescription.

The same goes for food logging. Barcode lookups come from a public database and photo estimates come from an AI model. Both can be wrong.

Talk to a doctor first

Speak to a qualified healthcare professional before you start a new training program, and before you make a large change to what you eat. That matters even more if any of this is true for you:

  • You have a heart condition, high blood pressure, diabetes or any chronic illness.
  • You are pregnant, might be pregnant, or recently gave birth.
  • You are recovering from an injury, an illness or surgery.
  • You take medication that affects your heart rate, your blood sugar, your blood pressure or your appetite.
  • You have a history of an eating disorder, or tracking food has been difficult for you before.
  • You are under 18, or you are new to training and unsure where to start.
  • You have not exercised in a long time.

If a doctor tells you something different from what the app says, listen to the doctor.

Stop if something hurts

Training is uncomfortable. Injury is different. Stop the set and stop the session if you feel any of this:

  • Sharp, sudden or stabbing pain, especially in a joint.
  • Chest pain or chest pressure.
  • Dizziness, feeling faint, or blurred vision.
  • Trouble breathing beyond normal hard effort.
  • Numbness, tingling, or a limb giving way.
  • Pain that keeps getting worse, or that is still there days later.

If you think you are having a medical emergency, call your local emergency number right now. Do not ask the coach, and do not wait to finish the workout.

Never ignore advice from a healthcare professional, or put off getting it, because of something you read in this app.

You are in charge of your own training

You choose what to lift, how heavy, and how hard to push. Warm up, use a weight you can control, use a spotter when you need one, and do not chase a number at the cost of your form. Results depend on your effort, your consistency and things about your body that no app can see, so we do not promise any particular result.
